Assistant Professor, Microbiology, Virology, Host-Pathogen Interactions (Tenure-Track)
The Department of Microbiology and Immunology in the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the areas of virology, microbiology, and host-pathogen interactions.  Applicants working in virology, including molecular virology, viral pathogenesis, emerging viral pathogens, and models of viral disease, are particularly encouraged to apply.  Successful applicants are expected to establish and maintain an extramurally funded research program and actively participate in the teaching and service missions within the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Stony Brook University.  The position includes a competitive start-up package, excellent fringe benefits, modern office
