Research Technician II - Molecular Microbiology
Scheduled Hours40Position SummaryThe lab currently focuses on understanding how rotavirus, an important enteric viral pathogen and major cause of diarrhea in children, interacts with the host innate immune system in the small intestine. We use a variety of research tools, including genome-wide CRISPR/Cas9 screens, human intestinal organoid cultures, and neonatal mouse models to study virus-host interactions.
