What you’ll be doing:
With minimum supervision, you’ll use your analytical skills to conduct moderate to high complexity testing on clinical specimens in the hospital microbiology laboratory, including but not limited to bacteria, viruses, antigens, molecular assays, antibiotic sensitivity, and infectious disease screening.
What you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences or one of the physical sciences – Biology, Chemistry
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a designated clinical laboratory setting
Current NYS License as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist
Preferably, ASCP (MT or MLS) certification and knowledge of LIS
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with computer proficiency
