Independently perform: 5%: Mouse genotyping (DNA isolation, PCR) 10% Cell transfers, mouse injections and pathology assessment(injection of mice by various routes, tumor size assessment, assessment of tissue pathology. ) 20%: Isolation of lymphocytes from organs (May include bone marrow, spleen, intestine, lymph node harvests, blood collection and processing, lymphocyte isolation, frozen tissue collection) 20%: Flow cytometry 10%: Tissue analysis (sectioning of tissues by cryostat and tissue section staining) 5%: Cell culture ( virus and bacterial propogation.) 30%: Data analysis
Required Qualifications (must be documented on application materials):
BS in Biology, Chemistry, Physiology, or related area of Biomedical Sciences and at least one year of full time research experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant research experience to equal five years.
Previous experience performing flow cytometry and working with animals.
