Working in the joint FDA/IFSH Laboratory Proficiency Test team, performs a wide variety of routine lab processes using simple problem solving, and assists in compiling standard laboratory data. Prepares microbiological media and reagents and assists researchers in both collaborative and industry funded projects. Working in a BSL-2 laboratory, prepares and analyzes food samples containing foodborne microorganisms, including pathogens.
