Post Doctoral Fellow- Microbiology / Immunology
The McBride laboratory at Emory University School of Medicine is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to investigate the mechanisms of sporulation in the pathogen C. difficile. The laboratory employs a variety of in vitro and in vivo approaches to explore the genetic mechanisms and nutritional cues involved in spore formation, including molecular biology, biochemistry, and animal models of disease. Basic requirements include a Ph.D. in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or a related area. Successful applicants will have a publication record, strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with others.
