Assistant Teaching Professor, Department of Microbiology
The Department of Microbiology at the University of Washington seeks applicants for a 12-month (July 1- June 30), full-time position as an Assistant Teaching Professor.  This is a non-tenure track appointment with the expectation of renewable 3-5 year terms.  The anticipated start date is September 15, 2022.  We encourage applications from women and minority candidates, individuals with disabilities, and people from all groups that are underrepresented in science and medicine. The Department of Microbiology maintains a robust undergraduate program serving over 180 microbiology majors and several hundred health science and other basic science majors.  Laboratory classes taught by microbiology teaching professors include majors' courses in general microbiology / microbial diversity
