Position Title: Postdoctoral Associate, Microbiology and ImmunologyPosting Number: R2100187Employer: Research FoundationSalary Range: $45,000 - $47,000FTE: 1.00Position Summary: Open postdoctoral research position to examine retrovirus pathogenesis using in vivo and in vitro models. In our group we are trying to delineate the role of various cellular host genes and how they impact retrovirus pathogenesis by integrating both tissue culture techniques and animal models. We are also interested in examining the function and role of the HIV accessory proteins (Vpu, Vpr, Vif, Vpx and Nef) and host genes on retrovirus pathogenes
