80%: The candidate will be responsible for the independent design and execution of multiple large scale immunology focused research projects in the Jenkins lab applying their expertise with CD4+ T cell biology, peptide: MHCII tetramer-based cell enrichment, and multi-parameter flow cytometry techniques. They will also be responsible for analyzing and writing up the results of their experiments, updating protocols as needed.
20%: In addition to carrying out his/her own experimental work, the successful applicant will serve as the author/coauthor of research publications and grant proposals and supervise technicians and undergraduates on related projects based on their research outcomes.
PhD in immunology or microbiology and extensive experience with CD4+ T cell biology, peptide:MHCII tetramer-based cell enrichment, and multi-parameter flow cytometry. A successful candidate must have a substantial research and publication record highlighted in their application materials.
Experience with single cell RNA sequencing.
