Microbiology Research Associate
The primary purpose of this position is to provide technical research support for experimental work in the Josephs lab related to microbiological research funded by NIH grant 1R35GM133483-01 entitled “Complex Mechanisms of Mutation and Mutation Avoidance in Living Cells.” Responsibilities include preparation and performance of standard biomolecular and microbiological assays; preparation of DNA for sequencing; and growth, maintenance, and transformation of (BSL1 and potentially BSL2) microorganisms.
