The Research Technician will assist with technical aspects of experiments under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI) or other more senior research staff. This individual will prepare and maintain research and laboratory materials, perform experiments and assist with data analysis of experiments. Experiments will include molecular biology, tissue culture, experimental handling of viruses and virus-like particles. Additional responsibilities will also include taking on regular laboratory duties, laboratory organization (keeping laboratory supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders and verifying receipt; organizing working areas; calling for repairs), coordinating lab safety protocols and interacting positively and constructively with all members of the laboratory.
