The laboratory is involved with working on novel methods for controlling the transmission of vector-borne diseases, specifically malaria and dengue fever. In addition, they are working on the development of vaccines and drug targets for human malaria. The incumbent will provide assistance to the principal insectary personnel, including maintenance of mosquito colonies used in experiments, care of vertebrate animals used to feed insects, as well as keeping records of experiments.
