The Indiana University School of Medicine-Terre Haute seeks candidates for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position in the department of Microbiology and Immunology. Responsibilities will include participation in the teaching of Microbiology in our integrated medical school curriculum. Establishing and conducting an independent externally funded research program will also be expected. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in teaching and research. The successful candidate will have experience in any aspect of microbiology or a related field. Candidates working at any or all ranges of microbiology (molecular, cellular, and organismal) will be considered. Research areas of particular interest include host metabolism and inflammation, proteomics, and translational research. Applicants at the Associate Professor level are expected to have external funding and national recognition for creative research productivity and excellence.
Laboratory space and start-up funds are available. Indiana University School of Medicine-Terre Haute promotes a collaborative environment with access to core facilities.

PhD in Microbiology or equivalent field with at least 2 years of postdoctoral experience.
