SENIOR RESEARCH TECHNICIAN, School of Medicine, Microbiology

Candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team investigating how viruses infect cells with an interest in discovery of new antiviral drugs. Primary responsibility will be for making reagents for analysis of virus infection, performing virus infection assays and analysis, and contributing to running of the lab, which includes ordering laboratory supplies. Keeping good laboratory notes is essential as well as ability to work within a team environment. Work will be performed in the NEIDL BSL4 and previous experience using a BSL4 biocontainment suite is desirable.
Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience.
