Postdoctoral positions in women’s health and host-pathogen/microbiome research
The Lewis lab is seeking two enthusiastic postdoctoral researchers in the area of urogenital pathogenesis/microbiome research. We seek creative, organized, and detail-oriented individuals with a genuine interest in women’s health research. Must have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree with one or more first-author publications. Must be willing and able to work as an integrated member of the team, and to participate in the development and documentation of new experimental approaches.
Position 1: Required: Published research experience working in mouse model(s).
Position 2: Required: Published research experience using mammalian cell culture and RNAi or other genetic tools to probe cellular mechanisms at the molecular level.
The successful candidates must have additional experience in at least two of the following areas: genomics/community profiling, qRT-PCR, bacterial genetics or other molecular biology approaches, glycobiology, gnotobiotic models, anaerobic microbiology, biochemical approaches (chromatography, protein/enzyme studies etc.).
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
