A research opportunity is available at Washington University in St. Louis in the Department of Molecular Microbiology. The Lodge lab studies signal transduction, cell wall biosynthesis and resistance to oxidative and nitrosative stresses in the pathogenic fungus, Cryptococcus neoformans.
The candidate will have at least a bachelor’s degree in a science-related field, preferably in Biology or Chemistry, and possess the ability to:
follow directions and protocol
work independently as well as part of a team
communicate effectively with laboratory staff and investigators
maintain complete and organized records/reports
The hiring range for this position is commensurate with experience.
